Your information, handled with care.
This notice explains what Dovy Studio collects through this website, why it is needed, which service providers are involved and the choices available to you.
Who is responsible for your information
Dovy Studio is responsible for deciding how personal information submitted through this website is used. Questions, corrections or privacy requests can be sent to dovysstudio@gmail.com.
Information Dovy Studio may collect
The enquiry form collects your name, business name, email address, project type, approximate working budget, project description and confirmation that you have read this notice. A current website address and requested package are optional.
If you contact Dovy Studio through WhatsApp, email or phone, the information in that conversation may be kept with the relevant enquiry or project record. WhatsApp may also process account, device and message delivery information under its own privacy terms.
Why this information is used
Information is used to:
- review and respond to an enquiry;
- understand your needs, prepare a quotation and agree a project scope;
- plan, design, build, revise and hand over an agreed website;
- maintain essential project and business records;
- protect the website and prevent misuse; and
- meet accounting, tax or other legal obligations where they apply.
Dovy Studio does not sell enquiry information. Submitted information is not published as client work or a testimonial without separate permission.
Lawful reasons for processing
Enquiry details are used where necessary to take steps you request before a possible contract. If a project is agreed, relevant information is used to perform that contract. Legitimate interests may apply to proportionate business correspondence, project administration, fraud prevention and website security. Legal obligation may apply to accounting, tax and other required records. The form checkbox records that you have read this notice; it is not used as blanket consent for unrelated processing or marketing.
FormSubmit
The enquiry form uses FormSubmit, a third party form delivery service. When you submit the form, the information is transmitted to FormSubmit and forwarded to Dovy Studio at dovysstudio@gmail.com. FormSubmit states that submissions are retained for 30 days under its own privacy and service terms. Do not include passwords or other unnecessary sensitive information in the form.
WhatsApp buttons open a conversation with Dovy Studio through WhatsApp. Using them may share your telephone number, profile information, message content and technical information with WhatsApp and its associated providers. Your use of WhatsApp is governed by its own privacy terms. You can use the website enquiry form or email instead if you prefer.
Payments through Stripe or PayPal
If you choose a Stripe or PayPal payment option, the checkout opens with that provider. The provider processes the payment information needed to complete the transaction under its own privacy terms. Dovy Studio may receive transaction information such as your name, email address, amount paid, currency, payment status and reference details needed to match the payment to your project. This website does not directly collect or store your full card number or card security code.
Social media links
Links to Facebook and LinkedIn open the relevant third party platform. Those platforms may process account, device and usage information when you visit them, subject to their own privacy information.
Hosting and security
Dovy Studio uses Cloudflare Pages to host this website. Cloudflare may process technical request information such as an IP address, browser or device data, requested URLs and timestamps to deliver, protect and diagnose the service.
The website font and all public images are served locally from the Dovy Studio website rather than requested from a separate font or image provider.
Other service providers
Messages sent to the Dovy Studio Gmail address are processed through Google's email service. Information may also be processed by the hosting, messaging or professional service providers reasonably needed to operate Dovy Studio. Providers receive only the information relevant to their service and handle it under their own terms. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or needed to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
International processing
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where a transfer safeguard is required, Dovy Studio relies on the provider's applicable safeguards, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual protections, as described in that provider's privacy documentation.
How long information is kept
Enquiries that do not become projects are kept only for as long as reasonably needed to respond and follow up. Project correspondence and essential business records may be kept longer where needed to deliver the work, manage support, resolve a dispute or meet legal requirements. Information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer reasonably required.
Cookies, storage and analytics
Dovy Studio has not added analytics, advertising pixels or optional cookies to this version of the website. A consent banner is therefore not shown. Hosting or security providers may use technologies that are necessary to deliver and protect their services. See Cookie information for the current setup.
Security
Reasonable technical and organisational steps are used to protect information, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please use the forms only for ordinary business information and contact Dovy Studio promptly if you believe information has been sent in error.
Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances and applicable UK data protection law, you may have rights to ask for access to your personal information, correct it, request deletion, restrict or object to its use, or receive certain information in a portable form. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis used. These rights can be subject to legal exceptions.
Send a request to dovysstudio@gmail.com. Dovy Studio may need to ask for enough information to confirm your identity and understand the request.
Data protection complaints
If you think Dovy Studio has handled personal information incorrectly, email dovysstudio@gmail.com with the subject “Data protection complaint” and explain the issue. Dovy Studio will review the complaint and respond as appropriate.
You may also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Its current complaint information is available at ico.org.uk.
Children's information
This business website is intended for adults seeking website services and is not directed at children. Please do not submit information about a child through the forms.
Automated decisions
Dovy Studio does not use information submitted through this website for automated decision making or profiling.
