Accessibility at Dovy Studio.
Dovy Studio aims to make dovystudio.co.uk usable by as many people as reasonably possible and welcomes reports about barriers that have been missed.
Measures used on this website
The site has been built with semantic headings and landmarks, a skip link, keyboard accessible navigation, visible focus indicators, labelled form fields, meaningful alternative text, responsive layouts, readable contrast and touch targets designed for phones and tablets.
Animations use opacity and transforms where practical. The site responds to the browser's reduced motion preference by disabling optional movement and smooth scrolling.
Using the site
You should be able to navigate the main pages and contact form using a keyboard, zoom the page without losing core content, and use the site across common phone, tablet and desktop widths. Form fields have visible labels and browser validation. Status messages are announced to compatible assistive technology.
Known limitations
The portfolio contains detailed website preview imagery. Each image has a concise text alternative and the adjacent project description explains its purpose, but the small interface text inside a preview is not intended to be read as page content. Third party destinations such as WhatsApp, email providers and FormSubmit have their own accessibility arrangements.
Report an accessibility problem
If something is difficult to use, email dovysstudio@gmail.com. Please include the page, what you were trying to do, the device or browser used, and any assistive technology involved if you are comfortable sharing it. Dovy Studio will review the problem and explain what can be done.
Status of this statement
This is a factual statement of the measures currently implemented, not a claim of complete or certified compliance with a particular accessibility standard. It should be reviewed when important design, content, form or third party service changes are made.
